Vinacomin signs a MoU with companies from the Czech Republic - 

The information announced by Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), Vinacomin has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with companies from the Czech Republic (including TOMAS GROUP, FITE, EXPORT- IMPORT MINING MACHINES) in the afternoon of October 22, 2013 in Hanoi.

At the signing ceremony, the both sides agreed to jointly cooperate, exchange and help one another by technology and basic speciality.

The main contents of the signed memorandum include exchanging information on technical advance in mining exploiting technology as well as advanced management methods applied in the mining industry to improve working conditions, ensure professional safety, increase labour productivity, reduce mining costs; researching and applying advanced pit exploiting technology, selecting mechanized mining equipment suitable for Vinacomin’s conditions, establishing methods of selecting technologic equipment in the coal exploiting mechanization glued with technology process; training, guiding basic professional standard, fostering and enhacing special level and management capability of mining exploitation, enhancing exploiting efficience, improving working conditions and safety at mines; coordinating with mechanical manufacturing companies under Vinacomin to carry out equipment repair, maintenance and manufacture

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Chuan, Vinacomin General Director, highly appreciated the cooperation between the two sides during the past time. He also stressed, that today MoU is the premise basis for the next comprehensive cooperation.
