The leaders of Ministry of Industry and Trade have been assigned for the tasks

 - Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has signed a decision to assign tasks for the leaders of MOIT.

According to the Dicision, the leaders of this Ministry have been assigned tasks as follows:

1.Minister Tran Tuan Anh is responsible for: comprehensive leadership and management of work of the ministry, direction of the strategy, planning and the great balance in development of the sector, the organization of cadres, inspection, legislation, international economic integration, emulation, commendation and discipline, in charge of energy industry with planning and using land resources in this sector.

Direct steering the following units: the Organization and Personnel Department, the Legal Department, the Inspectorate of the Ministry; directing the State management over Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) with the planning and using land resources in this sector; being  the Chairman of the MoIT Councils of Emulation and Reward, the Salary, and the Recruitment; the Head of the MoIT Committees for Prevention and Fight against Corruption and Practicing Thrift and anti- Wastefulness, the Enterprise Innovation and Development; the Chairman of the  Councils and Head of the Steering Committees for the other relevant spheres; and to perform other tasks assigned by the Government or the Prime Minister.

2. Vice Minister Tran Quoc Vuong is responsible to: direct the activities in electricity and renewable energy, environment and sustainable development, national defense and industry in service of national defense; prevention of floods and storms, fire, explosion and safety, health care; population and family planning, crime prevention, information technology, office activities and be in charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to the handling of trade disputes , anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures in foreign countries for Vietnamese goods in European countries; be the Head of the Steering Committees for the Crime Prevent and Protection, Flood and Storm Control, Search and Rescue, the Fire and Explosion Prevention and Safety, AIDS and drug and prostitution prevention and control; be on behalf of the MoIT, to direct the industry and trade sector of the provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Lam Dong; directly steer the Departments of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development, European and American Markets (for European market related work), Office of the Ministry, Electricity Regulatory Authority, Electricity and Renewable Energy, and the Industrial Safety and Environment, the Bureau of Work in the South, the Center for Health and Industrial Work Environment; and join the Minister in directing the State management over the Electricity of Vietnam; be Chairman and Head of the other Councils and steering Committees for the relevant spheres; and undertake the other tasks as assigned by the Minister.

3. Vice Minister Dang Hoang An: to direct the work in the field of oil and gas, coal, finance, business innovation, market management, chemical industry; In charge of mass organizations; on behalf of the Ministry, to direct the Industry and Trade sectror in the following provinces and cities: Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Cao Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien and Lai Chau; directly steer the MoIT departments of Finance and Enterprise Renovation, the Oil and Gas, and Coal, the Chemicals  and the Market Management; on behalf of the Ministry, to direct the State management for the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group and the Vietnam National Chemical Group; coordinate with the Minister in directing the State management over the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group; be President and Head of other councils and committees in the relevant fields; and undertake other tasks as assigned by the Minister.

4. The Vice Minister Tran Quoc Khanh: to direct the work in the field of competition management, anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and self-defense, protection of consumers' interests; export, import and trade services, deal with issues related to trade balance, administrative reforms; be the head of the Government Delegation for International Economic and Trade Negotiations; be in charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to the handling of trade disputes and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures in respect of Vietnamese goods in Asia-Pacific countries; be in charge of relations between Vietnam and its partners in ASEAN, APEC, ASEM, the WTO as well as other regional and international economic organizations and forums; and direct the general work related to the overseas Vietnamese business; on behalf of the Ministry, to direct the industry and trade sector of the following provinces and cities: Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Hau Giang, An Giang, Kien Giang, Soc Trang; directly steer the following MoIT Departments of: Multilateral Trade Policy, Asian-African Market (for Asia-Pacific markets), Import-Export, and Competition; the Trade Defense, the Competition Council Office, the representative of MoIT (WTO) at the Permanent Mission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and other international organizations in Geneva; be the Chairman and Head of other councils and steering committees for relevant spheres; and undertake the mother tasks assigned by the Minister.

5. The Vice Minister Do Thang Hai: to direct activities in the field of domestic market development, trade promotion, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supporting industries, metallurgy and minerals (except oil and gas); assist the Minister in directing the work of international economic integration and cooperation; be in charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to the handling of trade disputes and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures in foreign countries for Vietnamese goods in the American countries; on behalf of the Ministry direct  Industry and Trade sector in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces; Directly steer the MoIT Departments of Domestic Market, European-American Market (for activities related to American market), Industry (for work related to mechanical industry, manufacturing, supporting industries, metallurgy and minerals), the Trade Promotion, the Industry and Trade Information Center, the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the Industrial and Commercial Review, Industry and Trade Publishing House, Office of International Steering Committee for International Economic Integration; on behalf of the Ministry, direct the implementation of State management over Vietnam Petro Corporation, Driving Force and Agriculture Machinery Corporation, Machinery and Industrial Equipment Corporation, Vietnam Steel Corporation and Vietnam Industrial Construction Joint Stock Corporation; be the Chairman and Head of councils and steering committees of other relevant spheres; undertake the other tasks as assigned by the Minister.

6. The Vice Minister Cao Quoc Hung: to direct the work in the field of planning, investment, scientific and technological research, training, light industry including consumption, food and other processing industries, food safety, local industry and trade, collective economy, e-commerce and digital economy; be in charge of bilateral relations and market development, issues related to the handling of trade disputes and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures in foreign countries for Vietnamese goods in African and West Asian countries; on behalf of the Ministry  direct the industry and Trade sector in following provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa; directly steer the following MoIT departments of : Planning, Science and Technology, Asia - Africa market (for work related to African market), local Industry and Trade, electronic and digital economic Commerce , institutes and schools under the MoIT;  on behalf of the Ministry steer the State management over Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, Vietnam Paper Corporation, Saigon and Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporations, enterprises of plastic, leather and footwear, porcelain and industrial glass; be the Chairman of Scientific Council of MoIT; be the  Chairman and Head of councils and steering committees of other relevant spheres; undertake the other tasks as assigned by the Minister.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces the previous decisions and notices on assignment of tasks as well as the temporary adjustment and supplementation of tasks within the Ministry's leadership.
