Supplementing the Thanh Hoa 1 solar power project into the NPP

- Ministry of Construction (MOC) has agreed to supplement the Thanh Hoa 1 solar power project into the National Power Planning with a note for Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in evalueting the capacities of finance and construction investment of investor and analysing socio-economic efficiency of the project.

Besides, MOIT has to also review Thanh Hoa 1 solar power project on the issues relating to the regulations in Government’s Decree No 32/2015/NĐ-CP on managing construction investment costs as well as to guarantee requirements on planning, land use plan and connection of the project with the national power system…

The Thanh Hoa 1 solar power project with a capacity of 160MWp and a total investment of 4300 billion VND (190 million US$) occupies an area of 170ha in Phu Lam commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province.

The investor of the project – the German BS Heidelberg Solar GmbH holds 100% investment capital, and will manage and operate the project when it is put into operation.
