Supplementing Hau Giang and Phu Tho Waste - to - Energy projects into the NPDP

Hau Giang WTE with a total capacity of 12 MW developed in two phases including phase 1 with a capacity of 6 MW operated in 2019 and phase 2 with a capacity of 6 MW, operated in 2024. The project is located in Hoa An commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province. The project will be connected with national power grid by voltage level of 22 kV.
Phu Tho WTE with a total capacity of 18 MW is also developed by two phases including the phase 1 with 9 MW operated in 2020 and phase 2 with a capacity of 9 MW, operated in 2026. The project is located in Tram Than commune, Phu Ninh district, Phu Tho province and connected with the national power system by the 110 kV grid.
The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to assume the main responsibility and coordinate with the relevant ministries, agencies, People's Committees of Hau Giang and Phu Tho provinces in guiding and managing the process of preparing and construction investment of the projects in accordance with current regulations of the Laws on construction investment, land, quality management and environmental protection.
