Signing the contract on providing steel pipes for gas pipeline of Nam Con Son 2 project

The first contract is the one on providing steel pipes for gas pipeline of Nam Con Son 2 project, phase 1 between the Southeast Gas Project Management Board and Viet Nam Petroleum Steel Pipeline Production Stock Company (PV Pipe), with total value of over VND 850 billions and US$ 43,572,204. The delivering term is from June to October 2014, at Phu My Harbour, Ba Ria, Vung Tau city.
The second contract is the one on providing pipe covers for gas pipeline of Nam Con Son 2 project, phase 1 between the Southeast Gas Project Management Board and Viet Nam Petroleum Pipe Enclosing Stock Company with total value of over VND1000 billions. The delivering term is from August, 2014 to March, 2015.
Nam Con Son 2 gas pipeline Project invested by PV Gas consists of 2 parts of construction as offshore and onshore. The general contractor of the Project is PVC/PVC - MS Union, which will carry out the onshore works of GPP2 factory, stations and product pipelines . Total value of the bid package is over US$ 441.5 million.
Onshore pipeline system executed by PVC/PVC - MS includes: dry gas pipeline from GPP2 to Phu My gas distribution centre, with a length of about 30 kilometers and diameter of 30 inches, Condensate pipeline from GPP2 to Thi Vai with a length of about 25 kilometers and a diameter of 6 inches; LPG pipeline from GPP2 to Phu Mi gas distribution centre with a length of 25 kilometers, a diameter of 10 inches.
All the onshore pipelines will be placed parallel with current system of Bach Ho, Nam Con Son 1 pipelines and in an accorded depth in order to guarantee safety and protect against extrinsic impacts. Nam Con Son 2 pipeline project plays a very important role in collecting gas from Hai Thach, Moc Tinh, Thien Ung - Mang Cau fields of Nam Con Son basin and transmiting it to the shore for providing the consumers in Southern Area./.
