In Hanoi, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on technical alliance with Schlumberger Limited.

On the occasion of the visit to Vietnam of the UK Prime Minister David Cameron (July 29-30, 2015), Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and its UK. partner signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation.

The information announced by Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), Vinacomin has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with companies from the Czech Republic (including TOMAS GROUP, FITE, EXPORT- IMPORT MINING MACHINES) in the afternoon of October 22, 2013 in Hanoi.

On December 11, 2020, in Hanoi, Korea Consortium and Trung Nam Group, signed Memorandum of Understanding in the energy sector. Accordingly, the Korea Consortium will support the Trung Nam Group in developing energy projects in Vietnam.

On October 19, 2020, in the presence of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide, the consortium of investors including PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power), Vietnam Mechanical and Machine Assembly Joint Stock Company (Colavi), Tokyo Gas Group and Marubeni Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Quang Ninh LNG Power Project

On November 8, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and AES Group (USA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on implementing Son My 2 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) project. 

Today in Hanoi, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Siemens have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote mutual cooperation in science and technology development towards Industry 4.0. As part of this MoU, HUST will consider Siemens as a technology partner and mobilize Siemens’ knowledge and experience in the development of its Digital Factory Lab while Siemens is committed to providing HUST with state-of-the-art technology so as to enable this leading technical university in Vietnam to sustain its world class quality in education and training, as well as to empowering the next generation of digital talent for Vietnam. In particular, Siemens will grant HUST 200 Solid Edge Licenses with a commercial value of about US$30,000 each. 

According to information from the Vietnam National Coal- Mineral industry Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), on April 6, 2015 in Hanoi, Vinacomin signed a MoU on the cooperation with Kamaz, a Russian largest Automobile Manufacture Corporation.

SP Group (SP) and BCG Energy Joint Stock Company (BCG Energy), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bamboo Capital JSC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to invest in renewable energy projects in Vietnam. The MOU also provides an exclusive right for SP to acquire up to 49 per cent of its subsidiary Skylar Joint Stock Company (Skylar).  

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), on behalf of New Market Fund I, Asiapetro, Novasia Energy and Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on developing La Gan offshore wind power project with a total capacity of up to 3.5 GW. The signing ceremony took place at the Vietnam 2020 High-Level Forum on July 22, 2020, in Hanoi.

On the official visit to Vietnam of French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe (from 2-4 November, 2018), Vietnam and France sides held the signing ceremony of the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on cooperation and agreements  between the two countries and their businesses to promote consolidation in many areas.

On December 11, 2015, in Hanoi, General Department of Energy (GDE) under Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and Tan Tao Energy JSC (TEC) under Tan Tao Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on developing Kien Luong 1 BOT Thermal Power Project (TPP).

Doosan Enerbility Vietnam (Doosan Vina), Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: Global offshore wind leader Ørsted announced its latest cooperation agreement in Vietnam with Doosan Enerbility Vietnam, focused on foundations infrastructure and boosting local supply chains for offshore wind.

At the Quang Ninh Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2022 "Converging and Spreading", the Representative of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on investment in Quang Yen Stavian Petrochemical Plant project (valued 1.5 billion USD) for Quang Yen Stavian Petrochemical Joint Stock Company and Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company.

The Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2), Tin Thanh Group (TTG), Ninh Thuan Agriculture and Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (NITSA) and Son My Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (SSC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on a cooperation to invest in and develop biomass power projects in the Mekong Delta region and waste-to-energy projects in Ho Chi Minh city.
