The conference “Supporting Renewable Energy development and Sharing experience between France and Vietnam" with participation of the 7 French enterprises held on May, 20.  This is an opportunity for Vietnam get more new co-operations on renewable energy development.

On January 17, 2018, at the meeting with Mr. Tatsuo Yasunaga, Chairman and General Director, Mitsui & Co (Japan), Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Industry and Trade (Vietnam) asked Mitsui and relevant agencies to deal with the shortcomings and speed up the progress of gas projects in lot B.

The Government Office has just issued Document No 6530/VPCP-QHQT, dated September 16, 2021 on handling petitions related to implementing plan of O Mon 3, Tan Phuoc 1 and 2 thermal power projects. In this document the Government suggests to expeditiously prepare the necessary conditions to submit for approving O Mon 3 investment policy rightly after issuing Decree by the Government for replacing Decree 56 on managing and using ODA and preferential loan capitals from the foreign sponsors.

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed that in the recent official visit to Japan by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the PVN mission had a working meeting with Japanese partners. PVN mission discussed and exchanged with JX NOEX issues related to oil and gas activities in the Petroleum Product Sharing Contract (PSC) of Lot 15-2 and the plan for deploying this project after 2025 (at the end of PSC).

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed that On November 23, 2022, in Vung Tau city, the Domestic Petroleum Exploration and Production Company (PVEP POC) under the Petroleum Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) and Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro - VSP) signed an EPCI contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) for Phase 3, Lot 05 1a of the Dai Hung field development project. (The Enterprise of Oil and Gas Construction, Survey and Repair Exploitation is assigned by Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP) to implement this project).
