According to the Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), the Council for appraisal of the mineral exploration project of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has finished evaluating and unanimously granted approval to the 6 coal exploration projects that invested by Vinacomin.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has just issued two decisions on approving policy for the companies from Ho Chi Minh city to develop solar power projects (SPPs) on Gia Hoet 1 and Tam Bo irrigation lakes (in Quang Thanh commune, Chau Duc district) with a total capacity of 70 MW and a total investment level of more than 1,500 billion VND.

The Prime Minister (PM) has just approved the Development Strategy of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) to 2030 with a vision up to 2045. According to this Development Strategy, EVN will become a strong economic group with sustainable, efficient business operated by the market mechanism, equally competed with the enterprises of other economic sectors in accordance with the legal regulations.

Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has  approved a Decision for 3 investors to develop Hiep Thanh wind power project including 18 - 19 wind turbines with a total capacity of 78MW and investment of VND 3,370 billion in Hiep Thanh Commune, Duyen Hai Town. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2020.

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee (PPC) had a decision to approve the investment policy of two floating solar power projects with a total capacity of 450 MWp and a total investment of 7,800 billion VND, on the lake in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province.

The 3,200 MW Bac Lieu LNG Power Project is the largest project with 100% foreign direct investment in the Mekong Delta region. The Environmental Impact Assessment of the project has been approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on Sept.01, 2021.

Phu Yen provincial people’s committee has just approved for Phu Khanh Photo-Electric Joint Stock Company to develop Xuan Tho 1 &2 solar power projects in Xuan Tho 1 and Xuan Tho 2 commune,  Song Cau town, Phu Yen province. 

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just approved the investment policy for two wind power projects with a total capacity of 150 MW including Ia Le1project (in Ia Le commune) with a capacity of 100 MW and average annual generation of 320.683 GWh, invested by Cao Nguyen 1 Wind Power Development JS Company with 4,021 billion VND and 50 MW Nhon Hoa 2 project  (in Chu Don commune) invested by Nhon Hoa 2 Energy JS Company with 1,400 billion VND.
