Press Conference to announce about “The 10th ASCOPE Conference & Exhibition”

On 18th July 2012, at Petrovietnam Head Quarter, Dr. Do Van Hau – President and CEO of Petrovietnam chaired the Press Conference announcing “The 10th ASCOPE Conference and Exhibition” (ASCOPE C&E) which will be hosted by Petrovietnam from 28th to 30th November 2013 at Sai Gon Exhibition and Conference Center in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.
The attendees included Mr. Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood – CEO of My Events International (Malaysia), Petrovietnam’s co-organizer in ASCOPE C&E 2013 as well as Leaders of Petrovietnam’s related divisions and subsidiaries, Petrovietnam staffs who are members of ASCOPE’s six Business Development Committees.
ASCOPE is short for ASEANCouncil on Petroleumcomprising ten national petroleum companies/authorities from ASEAN nations.
Today ASCOPE C&E is considered to be the most prestigious oil and gas event in ASEAN region and is held once every four years among ASCOPE members where they gather to demonstrate their own capacity and share experiences, technical know-how and cooperation opportunities with international, national and independent oil companies worldwide aiming at enhancing the development of ASEAN petroleum industry and drawing foreign partners’ attention to the vast opportunities available in this emerging region. Apart from such objectives, ASCOPE C&E is a place where ASEAN cultures gather and prosper.
With the theme “Innovation & Cooperation – The way forward”, the 10th ASCOPE C&E is expected to attract the attention of a large number of petroleum and petroleum service companies in the region and the world at large.
At the Press Conference, Dr. Do Van Hau introduced briefly about ASCOPE, the theme and topics of ASCOPE C&E 2013 as well as the preparation of the host country. Dr. Hau expressed his thanks to and called for the cooperation of the press and media in coverage of the event in the most timely and exact manner.
Additionally, Mr. Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood– CEO of My Events International had some remarks about the event preparation procedures and marketing plans.
