Vietnam and Russia look for cooperation opportunities  in the third country - 

On May 18, 2017, speaking at the meeting with Deputy Minister (DM) of Energy of Russia Yuri Sentyurin, Vice Prime Minister (VPM) of Vietnam Trinh Dinh Dung said that the Vietnamese government will continue to support petroleum businesses of Vietnam and Russia to further strengthen cooperation to continuously extend investment in Vietnam as well as together look for the investment cooperation opportunities in Russia and the third country.

VPM Trinh Dinh Dung and DM Yuri Sentyurin considered that Vietnam-Russia cooperation in energy sector, especially in the oil and gas industry intensively interested by the governments of the two countries is a key and effective cooperation in bilateral relationship bringing a great revenue to each country.

On this occasion, VPM Trinh Dinh Dung asked Russian government to continuously create the favorable conditions for Rusvietpetro and Gazpromviet to effectively implement oil and gas projects in Russia.

DM Yuri Sentyurin informed that the Russian leading oil and gas companies including Gazprom a largest gas corporation are closely working with Vietnamese partners in carrying out the signed projects and seeking the new cooperation projects.
