According to PV Drilling, this is venture rig between PV Drilling Overseas, member units of the Corporation with its headquater in Singapore as an investor.
Jackup rig PV Drilling VI is built under the design standards of Keppel Fels Company for the latest generation of self-elevating rigs -KFELS Class B 2013, can operate in the maritime sector, with the greatest depth of the sea floor of 121.92 m.
Rigs are capable of drilling wells construction with a depth of 30,000 ft (approximately 9,144m of drilling depth) and at the same time there are 150 people working directly on the rig.
Previously, on January 12, 2015, PV Drilling has signed a contract with the PVEP POC company to provide this rig for PVEP POC drilling campaign for 2 years at a number of mines of PVEP POC.
The mining prospecting and exploitation are assessed potentially huge oil and gas reserves, rig of PV Drilling VI have the opportunity to work permanently in Vietnam seas.
It is expected that rig of PV Drilling VI will be launched in Vietnam to provide services in March 2015.
