PTSC has selected Myanmar as a focused market - 

Among the oversea market PetroVietnam Technical and Service Corporation (PTSC) has selected Myanmar as the one of the focused markets.

PTSC recently had a working meeting with Myanmar partners for discussion on further promoting the petroleum services development in this country.

PTSC has a position of strength in high-tech petroleum services, especially in the essential services for petroleum search and exploration of the contractors in the coming years as providing service ships, survey and port base services. Besides, PTSC still has the positions of strength on the petroleum mechanization, crude oil storage and treatment, installation - operation - maintenance - repair of petroleum projects serving the mining exploitation and development process of the contractors.

PTSC defines Myanmar as the one of the focused markets.

Since 2008-2009, PTSC has promoted petroleum development services to Myanmar market and achieved initial results in providing geological, seismic surveying services and service ships. In following years (2011– 2014) PTSC continuously maintains to provide these services. In 2014 PTSC continues providing home barges for offshore perfecting works of PTTEP customer and will still provide service ships for drilling campaign at the end of 2014.

In Myanmar, PTSC worked with Myanmar Petroleum Company (MOGE), petroleum contractors and participated in the signing ceremony on supplying two service ships (8000 BHP and 10000 BHP) between the Petroleum Service Ships Company (a PTSC member unit) and PVEP Overseas for drilling work at M-2 Lot, Myanmar offshore.

MOGE Executive Director Mr. U Myo Myint Oo high appreciated PTSC and affirmed the services provided by PTSC in Myanmar have the high quality, prestige and reliability. Meanwhile, Mr. U Myo Myint also said, that PTSC has been brought in the list of MOGE contractors to participate in petroleum search, exploration and exploitation projects in Myanmar, coming time.
