Quang Binh will create the favorable conditions for rapid implementing B and T wind farm group

The B and T wind farm projects invested by the B and T Wind Power Joint Stock Company, with a total capacity of 252 MW has additionally approved by the Prime Minister to the Power Development Planning VII (adjusted).
This wind power farm group including 2 projects as wind farm B and T1 with a capacity of 100.8 MW planned into operation in December 2020 and wind farm B and T2 with a capacity of 151.2 MW planned into operation in June 2021.
The wind farm group with a total investment of 8,904 billion VND will occupy an area of 2,244 ha including 156 ha of cajuput forest land in Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts.
To ensure B and T wind farm group to start before October 2020 for welcoming the 17th Provincial Party Congress and to be put into commercial operation before October 2021, the Chairmen of Quang Binh PPC required the related departments, branches, localities and units continuously to pay attention, support and create favorable conditions for the Investor to complete the legal procedures for rapid implementing the projects.
The Chairman of Quang Binh PPC asked Quang Binh Department of Public Security to support investor in contacting with the Ministry of Public Security to get its comments.
At the same time, the Chairman assigned the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Construction, the Department of Transport, the People's Committees of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts ... to create conditions and guide the investor to implement the procedures and fulfill the documents for developing the projects
The B and T Wind Power Joint Stock Company were required to urgently complete the Environmental Impact Assessment Report with the appraisal of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for the PPC to approve in August 2020.
It is expected that, the projects will contribute to ensuring national energy security, creating jobs for labors, increasing budget revenues, and to socio-economic development of the province. Besides, the projects will also create a tourist highlight and the prestige to attract the large investors to Quang Binh.
