A new Government Decree on Environmental Protective Fees in mining minerals

EPFs for mining other minerals are attached to this Decree. EPFs for mining recovery minerals equal to 60% of the respective minerals attached to this Decree

Based on EPFs stipulated in this decree, the provincial People’s Councils regulate specific fees for each type of mineral to fit the actual situation of the locality in every period.

All EPFs for exploiting minerals excluding crude oil, natural and coal gas are revenues of the local budgets for supporting  environmental investment and protection activities accordingly to the Environmental Protection and State Budget Laws with specific contents as: preventing and limiting the adverse impacts on the environment in the mining mineral areas.

All EPFs for crude oil, natural and coal gases are revenues of the central budgets for supporting environmental investment and protection activities accordingly to the Environmental Protection and State Budget Laws.
