Laos Vice Prime Minister paid a working visit to EVN

Mr. Dinh Quang Tri, representative of EVN shares to Lao delegates about the heavy losses and damage to people and property in the catastrophe in Xe-Pian –Xenamnoy dam in Attapeu Province (Southern Laos).

At the meeting, the Laos delegates were reported by EVN on the achievements in the several past years as well as on the performance of EVN in recent years.

Besides, the contents of cooperation in the electricity field between Vietnam and Laos in the past and the prospects of cooperation in the future were also discussed by delegates of the two countries at the meeting.

At the meeting, EVN leaders also expressed the profound compliments and shares to Lao delegates about the heavy losses and damage to people and property in the catastrophe in Xe-Pian –Xenamnoy dam in Attapeu Province (Southern Laos).

In a spirit of mutual affection, EVN has contributed VND 1 billion to support the Lao people in the affected by catastrophe areas by for them as soon as possible to overcome the consequences and stabilize the life.

On behalf of the Lao Party and Government and the high-level delegation of the Lao Government Inspectorate, Mr. Bounthong Chitmany sincerely thanked the Electricity of Vietnam for the compliments, shares and timely assistance to encourage Lao people to overcome the consequences resulted by the catastrophe  in Xe-Pian–Xenamnoy dam in Attapeu Province.

On the occasion of his visit to EVN, Mr. Bounthong Chitmany and the senior delegation of the Lao Government Inspectorate have visited the National Power System Dispatching Center.
