Against the backdrop of a very successful event in 2012, the 2nd edition of Mining Vietnam takes place in Hanoi from 11th – 13th March 2014 in the form of exhibition and conference, attracting hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from 26 countries worldwide.  At this year’s event, Siemens Industry has presented its latest innovations to satisfy the mining industry’s utmost automation and drives requirements. Systems and solutions in the highlight are Siemens Integrated Drive System, FLENDER FZG and Simogear.

Siemens Integrated Drive Systems are the world‘s first true one-stop solution for entire drive trains. They enable noticeably shorter time to market and shorter time to profit. Integrating seamlessly in any drive train, any automation environment, and even in the entire lifecycle, Siemens Integrated Drive Systems turn common drive components into drive systems and make mere assets become drivers of success.

Within the framework of its "Integrated Drive Systems" (IDS) concept presented for the first time at Hannover Messe in Germany, Siemens is showcasing new components such as its Sinamics G110M frequency converter, which works with Simogear motors to achieve maximum efficiency in application. The facility for the advance configuration of converters and their motors, and also the intuitive engineering offered by the TIA Portal make for significantly simplified and faster commissioning processes.
