High increasing coal export

 - According to the report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) on situation of industrial and trading activities in the first eleven months of 2014, the coal export of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industry Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) has been increased for up to 30 percent.

 

In November, 2014 the clean coal production of the whole sector estimated as 3.8 million tons, and in 11 months as 36.6 million tons, accounting 87.2% yearly plan of 2014 and equivalent to the amount of the same period in 2013.

According to MoIT, recent time, though due to a lot of difficulties in the economic development, Vinacomin  strived to maintain stable production and actively invested background to prepare facilities for satisfying the coal demand increase in coming years, especially coal demand for power generation.

In November, the clean coal production of Vinacomin estimated as 3.5 million tons, and in 11 months as 32 million tons, accounting 93.6% yearly plan of 2014 and increasing 0.6% in comparison with the same period of 2013.

In November, the consumption of the clean coal estimated as 2.3 million tons, and in 11 months as 32.8 million tons, accounting 93.7% yearly plan of 2014 and increasing 10% in comparison with the same period of 2013 among that domestic consumption was 27.3 million tons, export – 5.5 million tons; and, as a result, both sectors have been increased 30% in comparison with the same period of 2013.
