EVN and Alstom strengthen cooperative relationship

Leaders of EVN exchange cooperation with Mr. Michael Rechsteiner, Senior Vice President of Alstom

General Director Pham Le Thanh assumes that EVN - Alstom relationship established and developed from 2006 with many signed contracts and contribute to development of power source projects in Vietnam. One of the successful cooperation between Alstom and EVN is provision of major equipment for Son La hydroelectric power Plant and in the coming time is Lai Chau hydroelectric power Plant.

In addition, EVN and Alstom jointly establish gas turbine equipment repair service center for Phu My Thermal-electric Power Plant, assist EVN in turbine equipment restoration by modern technology. At the same time, bringing indigenous electric equipment manufactures and repair capacity to access to countries in region.

“I shall continue to improve cooperation between EVN and Alstom so as to more and more development”, Mr. Michael Rechsteiner said. At his new position, Mr. Michael Rechsteiner promises to exert all his strength to consolidate and develop cooperation between EVN and Alstom.

Alstom is a big economic corporation and operates in more than 100 countries in the world with 93.000 staff specialized in energy technology, power generation and transmission… Alstom presented in Vietnam more than 10 years and participated in electric energy, public transport.
