Inaugurating Lep My Coal Sort out Plant

According to information from the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industry Holding Corporation (Vinacomin): Lep My Coal Sort out Plant and Lep My Coal Transportation System - KM No.6 Port are the key projects of Vinacomin invested by Vinacomin Quang Hanh Coal Company and Vinacomin Environmental Single Member Limited Company.
The Lep My Coal Sort out Project was started out in April 2014 on an area of 18.8 ha. The project with a total investment of VND870.2 billion includes: a coal sort out system, capacity of 2.5 million tons per year for sorting and screening crude coal from Khe Tam mine, Vinacomin Duong Huy coal company; a conveyor belt system on premises + 21 for internal coal transportation; the conveyor belts for clean coal transportation (capacity of 1200 tons/h); a coal deport; an electronic weighing machine placed on a 60 tons load automobile; power, water supply, environmental treatment and communication systems…
The Lep My Coal Conveyor Belt System Project - Km6 Port constructed by Vinacomin Environmental Single Member Limited Company, was started out on May 11, 2015 on an area of 5,56 ha. The Conveyor Belt System with an investment of VND651 billion has a total route length of 4,531m, capacity of 720 ton/h. Despite the project had to go for a length of more than 1,800m in tunnel route through the mountain and pass populated areas and Highway No.18 ... but construction units and concerning ones have completed the project safely and timely.
These projects having been completed and put into operation have a great significance in: synchronizing the line of coal sorting and screening, processing and transportation; ensuring environment, information security, traffic safety; improving production and business effects; meeting coal demand for the national economy; expressing determination of Vinacomin in implementing commitments with Quang Ninh province on environmental protection and realistic celebrating the 80th anniversary of the mine worker tradition - the coal industry tradition 12/11.
