Contract Signing Ceremony on manufacturing the monorail conveyor system

To implement the policy of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) on promoting the development of mechanic production and international cooperation in order to enhance mechanical fabrication capabilities of its manufacturing companies and serve underground coal production, after a period of research and survey, VMIC has selected Czech companies to cooperate in manufacturing monorail converyor system  which are suitable for working conditions in underground mines  of Vinacomin and  made in Vietnam in accordance with European Standards.

Under the contract, two sides cooperate to produce the monorail conveyor’s components and synchronous devices as well as maintain the whole monorail system.

Mr. Pham Xuan Phi , VMIC Director confirmed that officers and employees of the Company will cooperate with experts of the Czech Republic to successfully fabricate monorail system with good quality , competitive prices and maintenance services provided to its subsidiaries to carry out underground coal mining activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Chuan, Vinacomin General Director emphasized that Vinacomin was focusing on promoting the application of science and technology, mechanization of production, reducing costs, improving working conditions, taking care of miner’s life. The contract signing marked a significance for Vinacomin to enhance working conditions for workers, it is the first step for Vincomin to cooperate with Czech companies to manufacture monorail conveyor system and mechanical products for Vinacomin and its extending market . He also kindly requested two parties to closely coordinate to maximize localization ratio and Czech companies gradually to transfer their monorail manufacturing technology to VMIC so that VMIC should master it.

The representative of Ferrit Group, Czech Republic, said that with over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and fabricating monorail products for underground mines and its financial capability, Ferrite commits to successfully cooperate with Vinacomin to manufacture qualitative products with the highest localization ratio in Vietnam and expects to open an opportunity for development and long-term cooperation with Vinacomin
