Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation just held a ceremony on launching the first 500kV transformer in  Vietnam. The 3-phase transformer with a capacity of 467 MVA is a product of the national scientific and technologic subject managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (code 09/HD-DT/KHCN), which will be installed at Son La Hydropower Plant in September 2019.

On April 1, 2018 at Lai Chau 500kV transformer substation (in Nam Hang Commune, Nam Nhun district, Lai Chau province ), the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) in coordination with the related units put into operation Lai Chau 500kV transformer substation and a turned branch.

On July 29, 2016 at My Xuan 2 Industrial Zone, Tan Thanh Dist, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the Southern Power Management Board (SPMB) in coordination with relevant agencies held a ceremony to check and take over, and put into operation the My Xuan 220kV Transformer Substation (TS).

The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVN-NPT) has energized and put into operation Bao Thang 220kV Transformer Substation.

On December 25, 2016, the  Central Power Management Board (CPMB), Contractors, Local Administrators and relevant agencies started construction of five 220 kV transformer substations (TS) planed in 2016 as Luu Xa (Thai Nguyen), Nong Cong (Thanh Hoa), Phong Dien (Thua Thien - Hue), Phu My (Binh Dinh) and Dak Nong (Dak Nong province).

On December 27th, 2014 at Osor village, La Kenh commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVN NPT) held a starting ceremony on construction of the 500kV Transformer Substation (TS) Pleiku 2

The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) informed, on March 10th, 2014, Cau Bong 500 kV transformer substation has been successfully powered for test and put into operation.

On March 6, in Binh Thuan province, Power Project Management Board 2 coordinated with contractors to organize the construction of Vinh Hao 220 kV transformer substation and a connection line.

On September 26, 2021, in Khanh Hoa province, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) under the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) organized starting to construct Van Phong 500 kV transformer substation and connects.

At 6:55 am on September 2, 2020, at 500 kV Chon Thanh Transformer Substation, the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) in cooperation with other organizations powered and put 500 kV Chon Thanh transformer substation project into operation.

The Southern Power Project Management Board (SPMB) in collaboration with relevant units has held commissioning, powering and putting into operation the transformer No1 (250 MVA) of Ham Tan 220 kV Transformer Substation with a total capacity of 2x250MVA and voltage level of 220/110/.220kV.

In the morning of November 24, Southern Power Project Management Board in collaboration with the relative units of design consultancy, construction,  management and operation in power sector organized to check and take over and put the 220kV transformer substation of Phu My 2 Industrial Zone into operation, exceedingly the plan schedule for 6 days.

In the morning of October 3, 2014, Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company held a Ceremony for inaugurating and poster gluing the transformer station 110/6 kV - 2x12.5MVA, a power supply project for mining Ha Lam coal mine below  -50 level.

Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 (PECC1) informed that at 10:00 am on August 15, 2021, the 220 kV transformer substation of the BIM wind power project was successfully powered. This is a project invested by BIM Group and designed by PECC1.
