The Vietnamese government has issued the Decree No. 07/2018 NĐ-CP on adjusting the Charter of Petrovietnam (PVN). In this Decree, the government makes clear the operational objectives of PVN on exploiting, effectively using petroleum resources of the country, as well as the organizational, managerial and operational structures of the Member Council, Control Board, General and Deputy General Directors, Chief Countant, Internal control part  and the Assisting Apparatus.

The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung recently  had a concrete guidance on adjusting the project of  restructuring Vietnam National Coal - Minerals Industry Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin).

The Prime Minister (PM) has just approved the project “Adjusting the development planning of the coal industry in 2016 – 2020 period with outlook up to 2030” in which, the PM decided to adjust the list of some infrastructure projects; supplement the list and closed corner boundary coordinates of the projects for maintaining coal production.

According to the Government Electronic newspaper, in on December 5, 2014 Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai chaired a meeting of the State Steering Committee on the National Power Development Planning, for listening to the report and primary considering adjustment project of National Power Development Planning.

Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has just decided to adjust the average electricity retail price by VND 1,920.3732/kWh (excluding value added tax - VAT) from May 4, 2023.

The Party Staff-Member Board of Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has just issued Resolution No. 21-NQ/BCSĐ, dated January 10, 2020 on the principles and  processes for adjusting and supplementing the power projects into the power development planning (PDP) in an order of prioritizing the grid first, power plant latter, and prioritizing the areas with a few renewable energy (RE) projects and areas with an ability to release capacities of power plants.

On 16 July 2015, in Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district and Phuoc Dinh commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee and Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) held a ceremony for publishing Decision No. 6070 / QD-BCT of the  Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) on adjusting sites of Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plants (NPP).

On October 02, 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) issued Circular No.30/2014/TT-BTC on  regulating the operation of competitive power generation market.

The Prime Minister has approved to adjust the charter capital of the parent company - Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) up to VND160.000 billion by the end of 2015.
