PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP) told: at 10h45 am on 14th Sept. 2014, Su Tu Nau Nam (STN-N) mine has given the first oil flow from SNS-2P well with an oil flow of 5,300 barrels per day, earlier for 47 days than planned date. The next three SNS-1P, SNS-3P and SNS-4P wells will be put into operation in turn and then the total flow of STN-N mine is expected of 28,000 barrels per day.

On December 28, GE Renewable Energy announced that it has secured a 27.2 MW contract to supply 8 units of GE’s 3MW-137 wind turbines to support construction of the Phuoc Minh Wind Farm, located in Ninh Thuan, in the South Central Region of Vietnam. A consortium of PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation, Henste Engineering and IPC Group will provide full Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the project.
