Doosan Vina was certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (MHIEC), Japan as the best supplier after completing the manufacture and supply of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) boiler pressure parts and made a great contribution to quality assurance and project schedule for the WtE power plant in Fushimi, (Kyoto).

Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has haven a paper to Prime Minister (PM) on the proposal to increase export quota of high quality coal dust to Japan in the condition that coal export to China is difficult due to the technical barriers of this country.

Japan’s coal enterprises are ready to transfer clean coal technology to Vietnam’s firms to reduce emissions and enhance efficiency in the electricity sector, said Noboru Aoki, head of the environment division at New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation.

On May 30, 2017, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) and JOGMEC (Japan) signed the cooperation agreements for a training program to improve capacity in coal production and safety techniques. Siemens will supply 16 direct-drive wind turbines to the 50 MW wind power plant in  Hokkaido Japan, commercial operation scheduled for 2018 and is the first project with the customer J-Wind Setana.
