The second international mining and minerals recovery exhibition and conference, Mining Viet Nam 2014, opened  from 11 to 13 at the International Centre for Exhibition (ICE) in Ha Noi.

The IХ International public forum-dialogue “Atomic Energy, Society, Safety-2014” and “Development of Design and Construction Technologies: From Idea to Reality” international conference will be held in Moscow.

At the Sixth International Conference on production and consumption of liquid natural gas (LNG) in Tokyo (Japan), the Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam Tran Tuan Anh put forward “5 opportunities” and “5 challenges” in the development of LNG industry in Vietnam to call for foreign and domestic enterprises to cooperate for investing in LNG in Vietnam.

On November 29, 2018, in Hanoi, under direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) in cooperation with the Central Economic Committee, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (Vinacomin) ad Petrovietnam (PVN) held the international conference on “ Sustainable energy development and environmental protection in Vietnam”.

The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) have coordinated to organize an international experience-sharing Workshop on rooftop solar power development (under the self-production, self-consumption mechanism). In an award issued on 22 May 2015, an international Arbitral Tribunal constituted under the Arbitration Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and comprised of leading international arbitrators Gary Born (Chairman), David A. R. Williams QC and Yves Derains has unanimously agreed with PetroVietnam’s position in a major tax incentive dispute under a production sharing contract for a Vietnamese offshore oil concession.  All claims against PetroVietnam were rejected and the claimants were ordered to reimburse PetroVietnam’s costs of arbitration in full.

July 2nd, 2020, Doosan Vina to deliver two largest RMQC cranes to Gemalink International Port in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, these first two Rail Mounted Quayside Cranes (RMQCs) out of six units of the Gemalink project, which can load and unload 65-ton cargo containers from the largest mother vessels safely and quickly, are supplied to the Gemadept – CMA CGM for commercial operation in Gemalink International Port in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

  It is estimated that there will be about 3,290 industry professionals from 26 countries and regions attending the International Mining and Minerals Recovery Exhibition and Conference - Mining Vietnam 2014 taking place on 11 to 13 March, 2014 at the International Center for Exhibition (ICE), Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi, Vietnam.
