On March 13, 2015, the Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang handed the Decisions on  appointment  of  Mrs. Nguyen Viet Son and  Do Duc Quan to the post of Deputy Director General of the General Department of Energy.

On July 7th 2014, the Minister of Industry and Trade (MoIT) Vu Huy Hoang has handed Decision No. 5586/QD-BCT on appointing the Director General of General Department of Energy (MoIT) to Mr. Dang Huy Cuong – the former Director General of the Electricity Regulation Authority of Vietnam (ERAV).

According to Decision No. 125/QĐ-EVN dated on 26/4/2018 of Electricity of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation under Electricity of Vietnam (EVNNPT) was officially appointed to the position of Member of the  Member Council cum General Director of EVNPT from June 1, 2018.

Petrovietnam (PVN) has just decided to nominate Mr. Nguyen Quynh Lam – PVN Vice General Director to the position of Vietsovpetro General Director, an important position, because Vietsovpetro is the member with the highest contribution to the state budget of PVN. The previous Vietsovpetro General Director Mr. Tu Thanh Nghia has been transferred to PVN Southern Representative Office "for health reasons".

Pursuant to Document No. 1437 / UBQLV-TCCB, dated September 25, 2019 of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises (UBQLV) on agreement to re-appoint the General Director of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), the Group Member Council issued Decision No. 1728/QD-TKV to re-appoint Mr. Dang Thanh Hai to the position of General Director of Vinacomin.

On March 24, 2020, Mr. Le Minh Chuan, Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) signed the decision to appoint Mr. Phan Xuan Thuy - The Head of Mining Engineering-Technological Department to position of Vinacomin Deputy General Director with a term of 5 years since April 02, 2020.

On March 10th 2015, the Chairman of Vinacomin Member Council Le Minh Chuan has issued the Decision to appoint Mr. Khuat Manh Thang as the Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Coal, Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited.

According to the Vietnamese Government Decree No 98/2017/ND-CP issued at 18/8/2017 on the functions, tasks, authorities and sector structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the General Directorate of Energy (GDE - MOIT) will be separated into the Electricity and Renewable Energy, Petroleum and Coal, and Energy Saving and Sustainable Development Departments.

On August 8th, 2014, in Hanoi,  the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) held a Ceremony for publishing the Decision on the  appointment of Mr. Vu Ngoc Minh to the post of the Member of Member Council and General Director of EVNNPT replacing Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung who retires by regulations.

The information from the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) said: In the afternoon of April 16, 2019, in Da Nang city, The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) announced the Decision to appoint Chairman, General Director and Members of the Member Council of the EVNCPC and organized a ceremony for signing the authorized contract to manage the capital of EVN in EVNCPC.
