Supplementing a number of projects to the Coal Industry Development Planning

The concrete projects that Prime Minister has agreed to supplement are as follow:
- For Uong Bi – Dong Trieu - Pha Lai region, it is to separate Trang Bach and South Trang Bach mining project into two independent ones as Trang Bach project and South Trang Bach project, East Trang Bach mining project into two independent ones as Northern East Trang Bach project and Southern East Trang Bach project and the pit mining project at Tan yen and Dong Trang Bach areas into two independent ones, as a project at East Trang Bach area with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year and a project at Tan yen area of East Trang Bach mine with a capacity of 450,000 tons per year.
At the same time, to supplement an open mining project in combine with the improvement of a lake at South Trang Bach mine area, with a capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year.
- For Hon Gai region, it is to separate Suoi Lai explorative project into two independent ones as North Suoi Lai project and South Suoi Lai project, supplement capacity of Cai Da -Suoi Lai Coal Screen pit mining improving and extending project until 300,000 tons per year, separate the extending part of Suoi Lai pit mining project into two independent ones, as Suoi Lai extending part project phase one with a capacity of 700,000 tons per year and Suoi Lai extending part project phase two with a capacity of 1000,000 tons per year.
- For Cam Pha region, it is to adjust capacity of Dong Da Mai open mining project from 450,000 tons per year up to 1.5 million tons per year, supplement an open mining project in Huong Phong Company Limited area (under Khe Tam coal mine), with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year and a pit mining project under - 50 level of Southwest Khe Tam coal mine, with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year.
- For interior region, it is to supplement Nui Hong explorative project
The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the concerning ministries, agencies and localities to direct the implementation of the above contents according to the current regulations.
