Vietnam and India signed an Intent Letter on cooperation in Petroleum sector

Accordingly, the General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) Do Van Hau and General Director of the Indian Petroleum Corporation (ONGC Videsh) Narendra Kumar Verma signed an Intent Letter on cooperation between PVN and ONGC Videsh in exploration and exploitation of oil and gas sector.
General Directors of PVNV and ONGC Videsh are exchanging the signed documents.
At the same day, at PVN Headoffice, General Director Do Van Hau received and worked with ONGC Videsh General Director, Mr. Narendra Kumar Verma. Attending the meeting were Deputy General Director Nguyen Quoc Thap, representatives of PVN departments of Petroleum Search and Exploration, Petroleum Contract Management, International Relation and the Leaders of PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP).

Two sides review the cooperation situation in recent years, including the deployment of a number of petroleum contracts of ONGC Videsh in Vietnam, as well as additionally survey and assess some new opportunities of cooperation, next time. Relationship between PetroVietnam and ONGC Videsh has been formed for a long time and develops well with every passing day, that showed through ONGC Videsh actively implementing a number of petroleum contracts PSC at 06- 1, 128, 114 lots offshore Vietnam.
