Signing contract on the construction of tight coal storages for Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Project.

 - On October 6, 2014, in Thai Binh province, PetroVietnam Construction JSC (PVC) and PVC Contractors Consortium of Thai Bình JSC Petroleum Investment and Trade Company (PVC TB), Song Da (Da River) JSC Petroleum Investment and Trade Company (PVSD) and Consulting Company Ltd of National University of Civil Engineering (CCU) signed a contract on "design, estimate, supply and installation of steel structures and construction part implementation of the 3 tight storages” Package for Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant (TPP) with a VND 914 billion value.

On the same day,  PVC and Contractors Consortium of Thanh Trang Investment, Trade and Transportation JSC Company and TAGI LOGISTICS Co., Ltd. signed a supplemental appendix for the contract "Customary clearance and domestic transportation of the main equipment packages" of the Thai Binh TPP project. The supplemental works include:    loading unloading and transporting goods within the construction site, building docks and  temporary ways for connecting them,   reinforcing  building the temporary roads within the  construction site...

Thai Binh 2 TPP is an important project of the Power Master Plan 7 of Vietnam with an investor as PVN. The plant is designed with two units,  a 1,200 MW total capacity and about 6.7 billion kWh per year sale electricity. It’s total investment  is more than USD 1.656 billion with a proportion of owner fund/loan fund as 30/70.

The plant uses coal pulverized boiler technology ensuring the  emission conditions in accordance with the current Vietnamese and International standards.   VietnamEnergy.vn
