PV Trans receives a large oil tanker

The PVT Saturn Tanker was built in Sekwang Shipbuilding
PVT Saturn is an IMO2, Oil/Chemical Tanker built in 2008 at Sekwang Shipbuilding Co. Ltd (S. Korea) with the parameters as tonnage: 13,159 DWT (deadweight tonnage), length: 128.6m, width: 20.4m, water line: 8.7m and maximal speed: 13.4 mile/h.
Investment in PVT Saturn placed in plan and long term strategy of PV Trans for “bring new blood” into the fleet, enhancing transportation capability to meet the domestic and international market needs. Specially, to serve transportation of oil products from the refinery and petrochemical plants in Vietnam.
PV Trans, whose precursor was Oil and Gas Transportation Company, is a state enterprise, member unit of Petrovietnam.
PV Trans has been assigned a task to found and develop a transportation fleet of crude oil, petroleum products and implement the other kinds of business to meet the increasing needs of the oil and gas industry of Vietnam and the region.
