First place for PV Drilling at the 4th Petrovietnam's vocational contest in 2015

PV Drilling won the team’s first prize.

This year’s contest attracted 353 participants from many organizations in the oil and gas industry. The were 17 different fields of contest with the prize structure of 01 first prize, 01 second prize, 02 third prizes and 03 consolation prizes. These are ranked by types (gold, silver and bronze) and number of medals, number of participants and number of registered fields among those teams.

PV Drilling with 38 participants registered 11 out of 17 fields, using their best skills, expertise and enthusiasm has won the First Prize with 3 golds, 4 silvers, 3 bronzes and 8 consolation prizes. In the last three times of contest, PV Drilling has earned the consolation prize, the second place in 2013, and finally the first place this year.    This is the result of preparing and selecting the best team from PV Drilling’s internal vocational contest. Every two years, PV Drilling runs its own vocational contest reaching out for the professionalism in preparation, monitor and organization. The professionalism was also communicated via the training content, direction and details that strictly followed Petrovietnam’s instructions. The company’s contest was also a chance for participants to cultivate individual knowledge and expertise.

During the current hardship of the oil and gas industry, the continuation of PV Drilling’s vocational contest and the partaking in Petrovietnam’s were PV Drilling’s best effort in creating a professional and qualified playground for participants to practice their skills, learn from each other, share experience and assess their knowledge, skills and expertise. PV Drilling’s management declared to keep enhancing the quality of PV Drilling’s vocational contest to motivate all employees to further develop their skills and contribute to the growth of Vietnam’s drilling field in the region and in the international oil and gas industry.
