Cuba is ready to receive invetsment in oil and gas field from Vietnam

Deputy Director General of PVN Nguyen Quoc Thap presented souvenir to Director General of Cupet Juan Torres Naranj souvenir.
At the meeting, the leaders of Petrovietnam affirmed the concern to the activities of searching and exploring oil and gas in Cuba.
Petrovietnam hoped, the amended Law of Foreign Investment that has just issued, with the stipulations more favourable for Gas and Oil field, will be the basis for development of oil and gas cooperation between PVN and Cupet and cause the background for PVN to report Vietnam Government for permission to continue participating in oil and gas projects in Cuba.
The Cupet Director General Juan Torres highly appreciated the cooperation between two contries in general and between Cupet and Petrovietnam in particular. The Government of Cuba and Cupet concern very much the oil and gas cooperation with Vietnam and expect to receive specifiable projects from Vietnam in Cuba.
The leaders of Cupet also affirmed that they will continue providing adequate information, petroleum experts for Petrovietnam to efficiently assess the documents related to the oil and gas lots.
Both sides agreed to initiate holding a conference on Oil and Gas potential of Cuba that expected to be undertaken within 2014./.
