The solar PV project of EVN CPC in Khanh Hoa province has been agreed to a new location

- The Khanh Hoa provincial people’s committee has agreed in principle to develop the solar PV project of EVN Central Power Corporation (EVN CPC) on a 95ha area in Thinh Son village, Thinh Tay commune, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province.
This is a first project among a total number of 10 projects, which have been surveyed so far in Khanh Hoa province where the average solar energy radiation intensity is 5.34kWh/m2/day, with a total capacity of 1920 MW (1470 MW in Cam Ranh city and 450 MW in Cam Lam district).
The project has a design capacity of 50 MW, average generation of 83 GWh/year.
The total investment level of the project including 110 kV power grid for connecting project with local existing grid is estimated about VND 1900 billion. The project is expected to be implemented in 2016 – 2018 period.
