Tay Ninh proposed to add 15 Solar PV projects into the Provincial Power Development Planning

- The Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just had a document for proposing the Ministry of Industry and Trade to approve supplementing 15 Solar PV projects into the Provincial Power Development Planning in 2011-2015 period with a vision to 2020.
According to Tay Ninh PPC’s Report, since June of 2017, there have been 15 enterprises to register developing in the provinceial territory 15 Solar PV projects with a total installed capacity of 554 MW and a total investment capital of over VND 15,400 billion. These projects will be implemented in 2017 – 2019 period.
As well known, Tay Ninh is considered as a province with a high solar PV potential.
According to the statistic data, number of the average sunny hours in Tay Ninh is 2400 h/y with a radiation intensity of 5.1kWh/m2/day. This is a very favorable condition for developing solar PV projects, so many enterprises have been attracted and paid attention for investment.
