Starting up the EPC tendering package for Dau Tieng 1&2 solar power projects

This project expects to be implemented within 9 months from the effective date of the contract with 97% contract amount as 220 kV transformer substation and construction and installation carried out by PCC1 and the design by PCC2.
Dau Tieng 1 solar power project has a capacity of 150 MWp, a total investment of 3,990 billion VND and uses a land area of 216 ha. Dau Tieng 2 solar project project has a capacity of 200 MWp, a total investment of 4,997 billion VND and uses a land area of 288 ha.
Both of these projects will be developed on semi-flooded area of Dau Tieng reservoir in Duong Minh Chau district territory (Tay Ninh province), invested by Dau Tieng Energy Joint Stock Company Headquartered at 444 Bach Dang Street, Chuong Duong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City.
As part of its investment strategy, PCC1 has been investing in environmentally friendly renewable energy plants. Beside the investment in hydropower plants, PCC1 is focusing on investment study and cooperation in many other renewable power plants such as wind, solar power plants or other renewable energy forms with a goal to produce clean energy to meet the global trend of cutting greenhouse gas emissions, gradually replacing fossil fuels.
Previously, PCC1 has just signed an EPC contract package with a value of more than 300 billion VND with Bim Renewable Energy JSC.
