Rosatom would like to sign the contract for Ninh Thuan 1 NPP Project soon

On October 28 morning, Dr. Cao Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade received Mr. Kirill Komarov Rosatom Deputy General Director headed a mission of Rosatom and Atomstroyexport, that, at present, are in collaboration with PECC4 (Power Engineering Consultant Company 4) and EVN to assess fulfilling Ninh Thuan 1 NPP Feasibility Study Report and put forward an overall schedule forn project implementation.
Mr. Komarov Kirill expressed his desire to sign the Contract for Technical Design and a Contract for designing preparation stage for starting Ninh Thuan 1 NPP project implementation. Dr. Cao Quoc Hung high appreciated the works done recently by Rosatom and EVN to promote project implementation at the end of 2014.
However, two sides need to coordinate to completely the Feasibility Study Report and submit it to the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the State Appraising Council for assessment and approval before negotiation to sign designing contracts, the Deputy Minister emphasized.
