Nearly Euro 7 million for expanding Wind Power scale in Vietnam - 

On June 12, in Hanoi held a ceremony for signing the agreement on developing the project "Support to expand the scale of wind power" between the General Department of Energy (Ministry of Industry and Trade- MOIT) and the German Development Cooperation Program (GIZ).

The Signing Ceremony of the agreement on developing the project "Support to expand the scale of wind power" between the GDE (MOIT) and the GIZ.

The Project is of the Renewable Energy Development Assistance Program financed by the German Government, including 2 projects (Support to expand the scale of Wind Power by GIZ and Wind Power development planning with an agreement signed in 2014).

The Project is of the stage 2 of the Technical Assistance Project on building policy frameworks for Wind Power development funded by Germany (2009 -2012).

The project “Support to expand the scale of Wind Power" is funded by grant ODA of German Government through GIZ, with an EUR 6.9 million sum. The project consists of 4 components and expects to last out the 2018.
