Camau province asks to supplement 50 MW SPP to the provincial PDP - 

Camau provincial people’s committee (PPC) has just sent a proposal to Ministry of Industry and Trade for supplementing a 50 MW (annual output of 73.904 million kWh) solar power project of Long Hung company in the Camau provincial power development planning.

The project has a total investment level of 1,150 billion VND will be developed in an area of 63 ha in Rach Goc town, Ngoc Hien district and connected with national power system by 110kV grid.

The project consisted of the solar power panels, a step-up 22/110 kV transformer substation with a capacity of 1x63 MVA and a 110kV double line with the section of ACSR-330mm2, length of 2 km from the power plant to the existing 110 kV Nam Can – Khai Long transmission line expects to be put into operation in the second quarter ò 2019.

In accordance with the approved Camau provincial power development planning in period to 2030 with the vision up to 2035 in Camau will be developed wind power of 3,600 MW, solar power of 1,500 MW and biomass power (from wood and waster) of 60 MW.
