Approving investment in Thinh Long - AAA Phu Yen Solar Power Project

- Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just issued the Decision to approve the investment of the Thinh Long Solar Power Joint Stock Company in Thinh Long Solar Power Plant Project (SPP) in Binh Thang village, Son Thanh Dong Commune, Tay Hoa District, Phu Yen Province.
Thinh Long - AAA Phu Yen SPP with a total design capacity of 50 MW, a total investment level of about VND1.173 billion. The project occupying an area of 59ha expects to be put into operation after construction period of 9 months. This is the fourth solar power project approved by the Phu Yen PPC in the province in 2018.
According to the preliminary expectation, Phu Yen province has 14 potential sites to develop solar power projects with a total capacity of 3,541 MW, on a total area of 5,160 ha in flat mountainous areas, specialized water surface, paddy land which has been planned into multi- industrial zone of 8 districts, towns.
