Phong Dien solar power project with a capacity of 35 MW, average generation of 61 million kWh per year and a total investment level of VND 838.393 billion (338.393 billion from investor and 490 billon borrowed from Agribank) developed by the  Gia Lai Electricity JSC. The project occupies an area of 45 ha in My Hoa village, Dien Loc commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien-Hue province and includes 2.5 km of 110 kV power transmission line for connecting the solar project with Dien Loc transformer substation (in Dien Hoa commune, Phong Dien distric)

This is the first solar power project funded by Agribank with  a credit contract of value of VND 490 billion (300 billion from Gialai Branch and 190 billion from Thua Thien-Hue Branch).

Agribank has signed a credit contract for the Phong Dien Solar Power Plant not only to promote the development of renewable energy, but also to contribute to environmental protection. local and national energy security.

On occasion of this event, Mr. Nguyen Du - Director of Agribank Gia Lai Branch confirmed the long-term, sustainable cooperation on the basis of exploiting the maximum strength of each side. As a focal point for financing, he hopes that Gia Lai Electricity JSC will continue implementing the project as quickly as possible so that the project can be put into operation in the near future with the realistic effectiveness. Agribank also commits to ensure adequate capital, and provide timely banking services for investors to implement the project on schedule.
