Supplementing Xuan Son waste-to-energy project into the Power Development Planning

The Xuan Son project using waste volume of 1,000 tons per day is located in Xuan Son waste treatment area and connected to the national power system by 22 kV power grid.
The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies and the People's Committee of Hanoi City to guide, manage the process of the project investment preparation and construction in accordance with the current provisions of the laws on construction investment, land use, quality management and environmental protection.
The Xuan Son project invested by the joint venture of T&T Group Joint Stock Company and implemented by Hitachi Zosen Corporation – Japan, is expected to be put into operation in 2020.
