This model has now been successfully installed by KEPCO in 120 different buildings in South Korea and continues to be newly installed in many other buildings, workshops and universities in the country. The K-SEMS system has helped South Korea to save 10% electricity consumption and reduce 5% CO2 emissions.

We believe that today signing MOU on cooperation between our sides will mark implementing pilot K-SEMS system in Vietnam. We also hope that besides the project of installing K-SEMS system, we can expand cooperation and exchanges not only in the energy sector but also in many other fields” Mr. Lee Jong Hwan emphasized.

The main subjects for installing K-SEMS in Vietnam will be universities, in workshops and a number of other facilities which not must spend any capital. KEPCO will bear all costs for installing the system. Payback period for installing K-SEMS system is usually 5 years.
