PV Power signed a MOU on cooperation with a Thailand Group - 

On November 2, 2019, on the occasion of the 35th ASEAN Summit and relevant conferences, Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul witnessed the ceremony for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the investment cooperation between B. Grimm   Power Company under B. Grimm Group (Thailand) and Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation (PV Power) under Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN).

B.Grimm Power company, an investment branch of Thai land B.Grimm Group is strong in investment in developing the renewable energy projects as solar power, wind power, etc.

Currently, B.Grimm Group is operating 45 power projects with a total installed capacity of 2,892 MW, including 24 solar power projects (among them, there are two solar power projects with a total capacity of 677 MW which have been just put into operation in Vietnamese Tay Ninh and Phu Yen provinces), 17 thermal power projects, 03 hydropower projects and 01 diesel project.

Besides, the group is also developing 11 power projects more that will increase its total capacity to 3,245 MW.

In the future, beside developing LNG fired power projects PV Power will focus in developing floating solar projects on reservoirs of the existing hydropower plants.

B. Grimm Power is a company with competence and experience in developing renewable energy power projects, so signing MOU this time is a premise for investment cooperation in power projects concerned by the both sides.
