Unit No. 2 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant has been officially put into commercial operation

Unit No. 2 of Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant is in official commercial operation.
Previously, Lilama general contractor already completed a reliable running process according to the EPC contract signed with the PVN investor with the parameters to guarantee the design requirements.
It is a remarkable achievement of Lilama Corporation, which has tried the best and overcome a lot of difficulties and challenges to put a TPP with the largest today in Vietnam unit capacity (600 MW) into stable operation.
On December 12, 2014, Lilama also handed over the Unit No. 1 of the plant to PVN for commercial operation.
So, after a nearly 5 years development period the 1200 MW (2x600 MW) Vung Ang 1 TPP has been officially put into commercial operation, contributed an important role to economic development and energy security of the country.
