Three power projects of EVN have to be urgently developed

At the present, many items of infrastructure of the Quang Trach Power Center which recently handed over from PVN to EVN, are being promptly implemented with a goal to start the construction of Quang Trach 1 at the end of 2017 and Quang Trach 2 in 2019, and to put into operation unit #1 of Quang Trach 1 in 2021 and Quang Trach 2 in 2023.
Regarding the Bac Ai Hydropower Pump Storage Plant and Tri An Hydropower Extended Plant, it is necessary to develop these projects for covering peak load demand of daily load diagram of the Southern regional power system in the context that in this system will be many large thermal power plants working at base load of daily load diagram in 2023 – 2025 period.
