The EVN electricity wholesale price framework for the Power Corporations

According to the Decision No 2265/QD-BCT signed by MOIT Vice Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong on the electricity wholesale price framework for the Power Corporations in 2018:

For the Northern Power Corporation (NPC), the maximal level of electricity price is 1,255 VND/kWh and minimal level is 1,185 VND (while in 2017 these price levels were responsibly 1,173 and 1,117 VND/kWh);

For the Southern Power Corporation (SPC) the figures are 1,433 and 1,389 VND/kWh (while in 2017 were 1,348 and 1,316 VND/kWh);

For the Central Power Corporation are 1,282 and  1,183 VND/kWh (while in 2017 were 1,209 and 1,139 VND/kWh);

For Hanoi Power Corporation are 1,516 and 1,437 VND/kWh (while in 2017 were 1,414 and 1,358 VND/kWh).

For Ho Chi Minh city Power Corporation are 1,658 and 1,593 VND/kWh (while in 2017 were 1,551 and 1,506 VND/kWh).

EVN is responsible to issue the specific electricity wholesale price frameworks for every power corporation accordingly to the current regulations so that the average wholesale electricity prices would be not lower than minimal level and not higher than maximal level of the wholesale price framework.

In cases if the power corporations and the EVN adjust the average electricity wholesale price framework to suit the fluctuation of electricity production and business costs, norm turnover and profit, They have to calculate and report to the MOIT for consideration and decision.

The duration for applying the average electricity wholesale price framework of the EVN for the Power Corporations from January 1 to December 31, 2018.
