"The bottleneck" of the ground for Nhon Trach 3 and 4 power projects has been removed

 - At the meeting with PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) and Tin Nghia Corporation on cleaning the plan ground for Nhon Trach 3 and 4 power projects, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee (PPC) agreed to let PV Power sign a lease directly with the government agency.

According to information from Dong Nai PPC, Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Chairman of Dong Nai PPC directed Tin Nghia Corporation to coordinate with the other provincial agencies to rapidly complete the works for compensation and site clearance to assign the plan ground for the investor to deploy the Nhon Trach 3 and 4 power projects.

Regarding the fees for using technical infrastructure in Ong Keo Industrial Park, PV Power and Tin Nghia Corporation will discuss and agree with the Park Management.

Nhon Trach 3 and 4 thermal power projects need to use an area of about 51 hectares. Currently among this area, there are still 07 ha not yet compensated for site clearance and 06 ha with the approved compensation project but the people have not received the money for this.

Up to now, PV Power and Tin Nghia Corporation have not yet approved with the Management of Industrial Park on the fees (at a rate of 5.1 USD/ha/year) for using infrastructure in the park.

Therefore, the Chairman of Dong Nai PPC assigned responsibility the Industrial Park Management to monitor and guide the relevant sides to strictly comply with the State's regulations on investment and construction procedures for implementing Nhon Trach 3 and 4 thermal Power Projects in timely schedule.

As well known, up to day, the activities for developing Nhon Trach 3 and 4 projects as design appraisal, power and gas purchase agreements (PPA and GSA), capital arrangement… are basically   met requirements and closely followed progress schedule.

The all of remain issues are promptly implemented by relevant sides for starting up to construct the projects by the second quarter of 2021.
