Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant has been made the Cooling Pipe System by Vietnam

The cooling water supplying and draining pipeline system is the main working item of Thai Binh 2 TPP, with a 12,509 ton volume and an over VND 1,000 billion total investment.
The cooling system consists of two parallel pipelines, with a 3,550mm diameter and 22mm iron thickness. The length of supplying pipeline is 2.8km and the draining pipeline is 0.3km. The schedule of project implementation is planned from May 15, 2015 to June 5, 2016.
At the Starting Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huong, the director of the PV Power Thai Binh 2 TPP Management Board high estimated the preparation works of PVC-PT contractor and other contractors. He also asked the contractors to implement project in safety, with a good quality and in time
Thai Binh 2 TPP has a 1200MW designed capacity and a VND 34,295 billion total investment and is an important project in PVN Power Development Strategy to 2020 with the outlook up to 2050. The project is also an urgent one under Power Development Planning VI approved by the Government’ Prime Minister
When putting into operation, the plant will contribute to not only ensuring national energy security but also socio-economic development, moving economic structure of Thai Binh province, Red river delta region and all the country.
