Starting the construction of the 220 kV Transmission Line from Duyen Hai Thermal Power Center to Mo Cay district

The total investment of the project is nearly VND 747 billion that consists of the loan from NEXI Bank (Japan) and counterpart fund from National Power Transmission Corporation (EVN NPT).
The project Duyen Hai - Mo Cay 220 kV Transmission line has a total length of over 75km, with 92 towers passing through districts: Duyen Hai, Cau Ngang, Tra Cu, Chau Thanh and Cang Long (Tra Vinh province); Vung Liem (Vinh Long province) Mo Cay Bac, Mo Cay Nam (Ben Tre province).
This project aims at the power transmission from Duyen Hai Thermal Power Center to Mo Cay 220 kV Transformer Substation when the Thermal Power Center generates at the end of 2015 to supply electricity for the load centers in the region.
Previously, in order to transmit power capacity from Duyen Hai Thermal Power Center to the National Power System, the National Power Transmission Corporation has invested nearly VND 4,400 billion for the Project of 500kV Transmission Line from Duyen Hai to My Tho city (Tien Giang province).
