Powering Bao Thang 220kV Transformer Substation

  The Bao Thang 220kV  Transformer Substation.

The Bao Thang 220kV Transformer Substation  Project has a total capacity of 2x250MVA. At the first stage, a 250MVA transformer, and 220kV and 110kV feeders have been constructed. The Bao Thang project was started for construction on July 31, 2013 with total investment  of VND 462.78 billion.

Bao Thang 220kV Transformer Substation is    located in Tang Loong Industrial Zone, Bao Thang District, Lao Cai Province.

220kV Bao Thang has been built to meet the power demand of Lao Cai province in general and Tang Loong Industrial Zone in particular, and at the same time to transmit power capacity from Bac Ha HP and medium and small hydropower plants in Northwest region to the National Power System, and by the way to participate in enhancing stability and safety for power grid operation.
